Meet The Team

James is our Head Professional here at The Herefordshire Golf Club and is a fully qualified ‘Accredited’ (Class AAT) PGA Professional. James has worked within the golfing industry for over 14 years. He started his PGA journey back in 2014 and graduated from the University of Birmingham as a fully qualified professional in 2017. James also completed his National Diploma in Sport Performance and Excellence in Golf at Hartpury College in 2010.

James is someone who has a strong passion for coaching and player development. James specialises in putting, where he is one of a handful of coaches across the UK to hold the level 3 instructor certification from Science and Motion Golf. James also has significant experience of introducing beginners and juniors to the game as well as developing county and professional players. James has first rate communication skills whether with adults or juniors alike. James has delivered after school golf clubs for over 10 schools in Herefordshire and promoted and delivered Tri-golf at the Herefordshire School Games where over 2000 children attend. James creates a positive environment for his clients to develop in. He has a calm approach and demonstrates high professional and personal standards. James has a can-do attitude to customer service and will always go the extra mile.

James’ passion for the game is also very evident in custom fitting where he is a certified club fitter for some of the leading brands in golf such as Ping, Titleist, Cobra, Mizuno and TaylorMade. He also prides himself on delivering the highest standards of club repairs, from re-shafting to re-gripping. James is a certified True Temper TRUE shaft fitter. 

Through his passion for the game James was awarded for his efforts and was chosen to sit on the Shropshire and Herefordshire County Development Committee in association with England Golf in 2017. James is still a very keen golfer himself and competes on the National and Regional PGA circuits alongside his coaching and work at The Herefordshire Golf Club.

Coralie is the newest member of our team. She started playing golf in May 2021 and became totally hooked on the game and fell in love with it from day one.

Coralie has always been naturally sporty with previous success at playing Hockey at county level.

Coralie joined the Herefordshire Golf Club as a club member just over a year ago and was given a very warm welcome by all the membership. Within her first year she has gone on to represent the club in matches for both the Ladies & Mixed Sections. She has also had great success with a couple of wins, including the Brian Matthews trophy and the QE knockout matchplay.

Coralie will play a vital role in promoting the growth and development of the Ladies Section as well helping to grow the clubs Junior Section.

Coralie is a positive, polite and friendly person who will always demonstrate a high level of customer service and gives a warm welcome to all members or visitors to our golf club.

Harry is our Trainee Assistant Professional here at the Herefordshire. Harry started playing golf at the age of 11 where he fell In love with the game and progressed quickly. Harry was previously a member of Burghill Valley Golf Club before recently moving to The Herefordshire and is really enjoying the new challenge.

Harry quickly became a regular player for the junior team at Burghill and enjoyed success as a junior golfer where he regularly competed in league matches and club and county events. Harry won the North Gloucestershire league with the Burghill Junior Team and went on to win the North Gloucestershire league finals in 2017.

Harry has completed a Diploma in Sport and Exercise Science at Hereford Sixth Form College and is now looking for his next challenge in the Golf industry.

Harry is looking to start his PGA qualification through the university of Birmingham next year and is looking forward to developing his coaching skills as well as improving his own golf.

Harry brings a cheerful and positive personality to the team and will be happy to help both members and visitors with all of your golfing needs.
